18 Renowned artistes to perform at the 2-day event
Bengaluru. 6th November 2023: 
The Ananda Dhwani Music Trust, Bengaluru, a not-for-profit organization that aims to promote, and preserve the Indian Classical Music and Dance, and encourage younger generations to learn about the genre through various activities. Started in 2011, the trust was formally registered in 2017 and since then there has been no looking back. The primary goal of the trust is to showcase the joys of the Indian classical music and dance through world-class performances while creating a platform to nurture the upcoming talents in these fields.
The 2023 edition of the two-day event is being held on the 25th & 26th of November 2023 at the Inner Circle Ground, Whitefield, Bengaluru. 18 Renowned maestros and artistes from across India are set to perform, engaging and entertaining the city’s audience with their performances over the two days.
Speaking about Ananda Dhwani, Founding President, Sangeet Ratna, Shri Prabir Bhattacharya said, “Late Pandit Deepak Choudhury, a renowned Sitarist, and one of the icons of the Maihar Gharana and a direct disciple of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar had sown the seeds of ‘Ananda Dhwani’. The seeds sown by him are being nurtured by his disciples. The name has been derived from the raga Anandadhwani, a composition by Deepakji.”
The music festival is being held over two days. The first day will see a Manipuri and Odissi Jugalbandi by Vidushi Bimbavati Singh and Vidushi Madhulita Mohapatra. There will also be a Veena-Venu Jugalbandi by Rakshita Ramesh and S. Akash with Ishaan Ghosh on the tabla and Vinod Shyam Anoor on the Mridangam. There will also be a Carnatic vocal recital by Vidushi Ranjani-Gayatri.
Meanwhile, on Day 2, there will be a Sitar and Tabla recital by Sangeet Ratna Prabir Bhattacharya and Pt. Anindo Chatterjee. They will be followed by a Hindustani Vocal Recital by Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty with Ustad Murad Ali on the Sarangi, Pandit Ajay Joglekar on the Harmonium and Pandit Ojas Adhiya on Tabla.
