The 30-year-old Indian shuttler has an impressive record, having won several prestigious titles including a bronze medal at the 2019 BWF World Championships and a gold medal at the 2016 South Asian Games. With a career high ranking of 10 in the Badminton World Federation rankings in 2019, Sai Praneeth was the only male badminton player to represent India in the Tokyo Olympics.

Sai Praneeth whose ranking has dipped to 43 owing to the lull created by Covid-19 pandemic, regained much-needed confidence after his National Games title, where he beat the likes of World No. 6 HS Prannoy and current India No.1 Mithun Manjunath in the final. “My priority is to get back into the top-10 in the world and I am hoping that the association with Bitsport will take a major load off my mind, especially the off-court issues and concentrate on my game. Currently I am working on my fitness, and game strategy to improve my performances for the 2024 Olympics qualifying season,” said the hard-working shuttler.
