MONTREAL–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today, CCM Hockey is excited to announce a four-year partnership extension with NHL All-Star Connor McDavid. The top young star in the NHL, McDavid will rely exclusively on CCM equipment to support his on-ice performance through 2023. As part of the extension, McDavid will continue to be a significant member of CCM’s impressive roster, which consists of fellow all-stars Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, John Tavares and Carey Price, to name a few notable players.
McDavid began his journey with CCM while playing in the OHL for the Erie Otters. The brand first announced their partnership with McDavid during the 2015 NHL Combine, prior to him becoming the #1 overall draft pick. Over the course of his young career, McDavid has been an impact player with more than 317 points (100+ goals; 200+ assists) in just four years. In addition, he has earned the Hart Memorial Trophy (2017), back-to-back Art Ross Trophy and Ted Lindsay Awards (2017, 2018) and 3x NHL All-Star accolades (2017, 2018, 2019).

To honor the announcement, CCM and McDavid have committed to donating 97 sets of hockey equipment to Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities. CCM and McDavid share the same passion for providing young players with an equal opportunity to play the game.
