Six probationary IPS officers selected for the 2024 batch of Karnataka cadre have arrived in Bengaluru for the first time and reported for duty. This morning, met the Dr. G Parameshwara Home Minister at the Vidhana Soudha office. Dr. M A Salim, Director General and Inspector General of Police were present on the occasion.
The six probationary IPS officers of the 2024 batch assigned to the Karnataka cadre have arrived in Bengaluru and reported for duty, where they met with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other senior officials

- Bhanu Prakash J (from Karnataka)
- Ishita Gupta (from Uttar Pradesh)
- Megha Aggarwal (from Uttar Pradesh)
- Pawar Shubham Suresh (from Maharashtra)
- Ranu Gupta (from Bihar)
They will undergo district practical training as part of their induction into the state’s policing and administrative responsibilities.
