Basavanagudi: Vidhana Parishad MLA, founder of Saravana Charitable Trust, T.A. Saravan, offered special pooja to the devotees on behalf of Saravana Charitable Trust as part of Vaikunth Ekadashi and distributed 1 lakh laddus to the devotees. On the same occasion, TA Saravan said that it is believed in Hinduism that Vaikuntha Mahadwara of Lord Vishnu will be removed on Vaikuntha Ekadashi day.
On Vaikuntha Ekadashi titled as Akhilanda Koti Brahmanda Nayaka, everyone has the desire to have darshan of Sri Venkateswara, go to Tirumala Tirupati and receive laddu prasada. Not everyone can go to Tirupati, and in the Tirupati Laddu model, 100 cooks are busy round the clock making 1 lakh laddus.
Laddu of Tirupati is prepared using pure ghee, cashew nuts, dakshi and chickpeas. Laddu Prasad will be distributed to devotees who come to Sri Venkateswara temples.Devotees of Tirupati Thimmappa, Govinda, Hare Srinivasa, Venkateswara, Lord of Seven Hills commemorate his devotion.
