The ISKCON Bangalore temple, an iconic landmark of Bengaluru city is all set to reopen for the visitors on 5th October 2020 after nearly six months since the imposition of the lock-down in the city due to the pandemic.
The decision to reopen comes in the wake of the lifting of restrictions on religious congregations as per the Unlock (4.0) guidelines issued by the Center. The opening hours on weekdays is 9:30 am – 12:30 noon and again from 4 – 8 pm. On weekends the temple will remain open from 9:30 am to 8 pm.
It is mandatory to follow strict protocols. Wearing masks is compulsory for all visitors. As a precautionary measure person aged below 10 years and above 65 years/ pregnant women are advised not to visit the temple keeping their safety in mind.
Measures such as sanitization of hands and feet, the thermal screening process will be done at the premises for all the visitors. Lifts will be operational in a limited capacity and only for the needy. The gifts and book counters will be open. Temple Kalyana mandapas will be available to the public for bookings.
