A new effort to take tourists to their favorite destinations and deliver them home
Bengaluru, Wednesday, January 8
MSIL Tours and Travels, a government subsidiary, is now organizing tour packages for the general public.
For many decades, MSIL has been efficiently handling the task of organizing domestic and international tours of government officials and government-sponsored tours.
Now it has expanded its services to the public sector as well. MSIL, which is already successfully operating its commercial activities in many segments, has now further expanded its Tours and Travels segment.
Safe domestic and international travel for the public
It has introduced unique packages to the public, including tour packages to religious and historical places like Kashi, Ayodhya, Puri, Adi Kailash etc. It is also ready to take tourists to many tourist destinations including Dubai, Singapore, Europe, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand with the best facilities.
The dates for many tourist packages have already been set and the public can obtain information.
To provide a safe travel experience for senior citizens, MSIL has come up with an innovative scheme that will take them with utmost care throughout the trip, like children, and drop them back home.
The tour is organized based on the tourist’s interest, the hot meal that the elderly like, the convenient date, and the desired transportation (air/train). This tour is being organized by the Tours and Travels division of Mysore Sales International Limited (MSIL), a government subsidiary.
Introducing unique tour packages ‘Kitchen with Travel, Door to Door Travel, EMI with Travel’ facilities.
Many people travel to faraway places and cannot find our style of food. If we travel by train or plane, who will take us there? Who will take care of us elderly people if we need some health care at tourist destinations? It is natural that many such questions arise. The purpose of this trip is to clear all these questions.
Accordingly, in the first phase, a trip to Adi Kailash and Varanasi is being organized in the month of September, and preparations have been made for this.
Recently, online booking tours are becoming more popular. But after booking online, there is no information about where to board? Where to get off? Where to buy the things you need? How and where to go for puja. However, since the staff of this organization is with you in the tour organized by MSIL, the tour will be pleasant and safe.
For those who want to travel in groups, there will be a group tour consisting of 100 people in each batch. Young couples or elderly parents who no longer want to travel in groups will be able to travel comfortably on specific dates, and individual tours will be organized.
There is also an EMI-Lucky Dip scheme.
If you go on a week-long trip to other states by plane, you will need about 30-40 thousand rupees. It is difficult to pay that much money at once. For such people, the EMI service will also be provided. That is, you can travel by paying money every month. Not only that, but there is also a Lucky Dip in this. The names of those who pay money in the EMI scheme will be raised through the Lucky Dip. In this, the names of four or five people will be selected. Those selected in this way will not have to pay the outstanding EMI installments. Hence, the EMI and Lucky Dip schemes are also being introduced.
24/7 telephone service for tourists
Separate helpline and WhatsApp numbers (08045888882, 9353645921) have also been arranged for tourists. It will function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A separate team has been appointed for this process. If someone is talking on one number, it will automatically connect to another number. A cloud-based telecom system has been arranged for this.
Different attempt
MSIL aims to organize tours according to the wishes and needs of the people. We are fully responsible for arranging meals and snacks for the people of the respective area, and for bringing the tourists safely home. Our MSIL staff will be with them. Currently, there are different tour plans in the state. We are organizing tours from September with the hope of offering something different, MSIL said.
