New 9600 VOLVO Multiaxle Seater Prototype Bus was inspected today by Minister for Transport and Mujarai at KSRTC Head Office.
Features of this bus:

*KMPL offers the best performance and advanced engine with advanced engine with innovative technology/technologies.
*Due to 3.5% increase in overall bus length, the distance between passenger seats in the saloon has increased.
*There is a 5.6% increase in overall bus height, resulting in more headroom.
*Windshield glass is 9.5% wider, increasing driver visibility and reducing blind spots
There is a spacious luggage space with 20% more luggage storage facility.
*Includes new generation mobile charging points like USB + C type.
*Having a wide AC duct ensures better air conditioning inside the vehicle.
*Premium passenger experience and comfort through the use of high class/design seats and materials.
*Wide pantographic design makes vehicle maintenance easy.
* There is more safety at night as fog light is included at the rear.
*Having easily accessible driver controls and switches is more convenient for drivers.
*Fire Alarm and Protection System (FAPS) is installed for greater safety of passengers in case of emergency. Inside the bus, there are water pipes on both sides of the passenger seats, which are supplied with water from 30 nozzles that start spraying water in case of fire. The driver can easily see the pedestrian from the passenger door and there is greater safety for pedestrians.
The Minister observed this bus and expressed his happiness that Karnataka is leading in the country in introducing various types of modern buses as per the demand of the passengers.
