01 June 2019, Bengaluru: Federation of Historic Vehicles of India (FHVI) is celebrating an exclusive motorcycle show, for the very first time in India. FIVA, International Motorcycle Week is celebrated from 01 – 09 June 2019, in 63 member countries across the Globe. This is the first time that India is taking part. The Federation of Historic Vehicles of India (FHVI) is hosting a 2-day event at UB City, where they are displaying 200 Motorcycles from across the country. The bikes from the early 1900’s to the late 1980’s are on display.
The event was inaugurated this morning by celebrated Kannada actor, Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar along with Dr. Ravi Prakash – President, FHVI & Ms. Uzma Irfan – Director, Prestige Group.
FIVA will globally honor every participant with a special historic Motorcycle pin, created just for this event through FHVI in Bangalore show. FHVI is the only Federation associated with the International Organization – The Federation Internationale des Vehiclules Anciens (FIVA), official partner of UNESCO.
The Motorcycles ranging from the early 1900s to the late 1980s, include Royal Enfields, Jawa’s, Yezdi’s, Harley Davidson, Indian’s, Nortons, Triumph’s, BMW’s, BSA’s, Matchless’s, AJS’s, Lambretta also very rare bikes like Velocette, Cossack, Douglas, CZ, JAP, Cezeta, Micoletta, Norman, NSU etc. In addition, the very first cycles – 1860 Bone shakers and 1870 Penny Farthing cycles are on display.
