Bangalore, UVCE College: World Communicator Day started to Celebrate by PRCI – October 28, 1906 by Ivy Lee in the USA , Pennsylvania Railroad Train Accident 50 people killed. Ivy Lee, who was working with the Pennsylvania Railroad at the time, urged the company to send reporters to the crash site and report the facts.
The celebration of this day will make way for increased awareness of positive communication and this bold, truth-telling strategy has created a whole new concept for public relations and journalism among the world’s people.
The day is celebrated across the country by various chapters of Public Relations Council of India by organising workshops, Panel Discussion and giving Awards to the communications professionals in various sectors.
