Roti-Wala.com scales new heights with 4x yearly order value growth supported by Zomato platform

 Bangalore, 04 September 2025:  Homegrown North Indian quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Roti-Wala.com has recorded a 4X increase in yearly orders post onboarding on Zomato, growing from around 38.7K in 2019 to ~1.54 lakh in 2024. Founded in 2017 as a modest cloud kitchen in BTM Layout, the brand has since expanded to three outlets across the city and is now gearing up for its next phase of growth with three new sub-brands – Paratha Wah, The Meal Plate, and The Khichdi Club, as it continues to scale efficiently and cater to evolving consumer tastes.

Speaking about their journey, Saleem and Nazima, Co-founders of Roti-Wala.com, said, “Starting as a small cloud kitchen with limited resources was challenging, but our passion for serving fresh, home-style rotis kept us going. Since onboarding on Zomato early on helped us reach more customers and grow steadily. Today, we’re proud to serve thousands daily, delivering food that is healthy, homely, and hygienic, just the way we would eat ourselves.”

 Roti-Wala.com was founded on a simple yet powerful idea: to deliver fresh, homely rotis to those living away from home. Over time, the brand has expanded its offerings beyond rotis to feature an extensive North Indian menu of more than 100 dishes. Catering to families, students, professionals, corporates, and hospitals, Roti-Wala.com has built a loyal customer base by consistently prioritizing hygiene, affordability, and quality, earning widespread recognition in Bangalore’s competitive food landscape.

Since onboarding on Zomato, the brand has:

  • Yearly orders increased 4x from around 38.7K in 2019 to 1.54L in 2024
  • Maintained steady 20% year-over-year growth, reflecting strong market demand
  • Improved menu hygiene and leveraged feedback to improve customer experience
  • Gained valuable insights on ad performance driving greater order volumes and customer engagement.

To help small restaurants scale quickly, Zomato has introduced several initiatives in recent years. These include a DIY onboarding tool that helps restaurants get listed on the platform in just 15 minutes, and access to the Restaurant Services Hub, a curated marketplace of verified vendors offering licensing, staffing, and hygiene audit services. In select cities, new restaurants also benefit from 0% commission for the first 30 days, along with credits for ads and Hyperpure services. As of Q1 FY26, Zomato has an average of 313,000 monthly active food ordering and delivery restaurant partners on the platform.
