Bengaluru, India | December 10, 2025 Highlighting the momentum created by the India–Australia trade relationship, Sunpower Renewables, headquartered in Victoria, Australia, in association with its India partner SunAP Ecopower, today launched its latest Australian-designed and engineered All-in-One Energy Storage System for the Indian market at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru.
The launch was presided over by Hilary McGeachy, Australian Consulate-General, Bengaluru, as Chief Guest, who officially unveiled the product line in the esteemed presence of Michelle Wade, Victoria’s Commissioner to South Asia – Global Victoria and Murray Spence, Trade Commissioner – Austrade. Mr Rahul Kale, Managing Director, Sunpower Renewables, and Mr Srinivas Kumar, Managing Director, SunAP Ecopower, co-presented the solutions to industry stakeholders, channel partners, and invited guests. Mr Hrishikesh Manian, Co-founder and Director, SunAP Ecopower, delivered the vote of thanks.
Designed to be sleek, compact, and truly plug-and-play, the new range is engineered to support India’s growing needs for residential backup, rooftop solar self-consumption, small commercial power security, and scalable battery energy storage—with capabilities spanning on-grid, off-grid, UPS, and hybrid modes.
With this launch, SunPower Renewables products will be available in Indian market for various segments such as small or portable units for rural / hilly / forest areas or emergency power for disaster relief, residential products for homes replacing conventional UPS and lead acid batteries, having BIS approvals and qualifying for Govt of India SuryaGhar programs. Added features include Time of Day programs, fire safety, solar or grid charging with remote app based monitoring. This milestone marks a significant step forward in delivering transformative energy solutions tailored for residential, commercial, industrial and off-grid sectors across India. This opportunity will help create hundreds of
jobs to Indian youth trained in Skill India programs or enable entrepreneurs in India to provide engineering design to end user, provide reliable long life products, after sales service.
