Tuesday, 26 September 2019: Trilegal, one of India’s leading law firms, announced today the appointment of Kunal Gupta as a partner in its White-Collar Crime Investigations practice. Kunal will join the Delhi office of Trilegal. With this, the partnership strength grows to fifty-two (52).

Kunal Gupta specialises in handling complex investigations involving corporate fraud and regulatory issues pertaining to FCPA, UK Bribery Act and Indian Prevention of Corruption Act, among other legislations.
He has worked with several global regulators such as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DoJ), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Serious Fraud Office (SFO) of the United Kingdom, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) of Canada in conducting large global investigations.
Kunal has been recognised by Global Investigations Review (GIR) in ‘GIR’s 40 under 40’ list of 2017 as well as recognised as a future leader under “Who’s Who Legal Investigations: Future Leaders – Partners” category for 2018. In addition to Forensics and Investigations, he has also been recognized as an ‘Up and Coming’ White-Collar Crimes practitioner by Chambers and Partners 2019.
Kunal will join Trilegal later this year from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas where he currently heads the Investigations Practice. In the past, he has worked at Grant Thornton, PwC, World Bank and L&L Law Offices. Kunal is an alumnus of NLSIU, Bangalore, was an Erasmus scholar, and has two LLMs, one of which is a European Masters in Law and Economics and a second from Harvard Law School.
