Ugadi Mahothsavams will be celebrated in Srisaila Devasthanam from 30.03.2022 to 03.04.2022 for a period of 5 days in a grand manner and more than 8 lakhs of piligrim public are expecting for these Utsavams. The Ugadi Utsavams of this Devasthanam are one of the major Annual Festivals of this Devasthanam and also prestigious not only to the State of Andhra Pradesh but also to the State of Karnataka since lakhs of devotees from various places of Karnataka are visiting this Kshetram during these celebrations.
To Provide “Sparsha Darshanam” of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamyvaru (in which the Devotees can enter in to the Sanctum Sanctorum and can touch the Moola Murthi of Sri Mallikarjuna Jyothirlingam with their Fore head) to the devotees for a period of 7(Seven) days and up to first day of the Utsavams from 26.03.2022 to 30.03.2022.
Further only “Alankara Darshanam’ (in this the Devotees can have only Doora Darshanam of Sri Mallikarjuna Jyothirlingam) for four days From 31.03.2022 to 03.04.2022
This decision has been taken as is in previous practice to Facilitate the piligrims. Further by introducing this Alankara Darshanam for four days of the Utsavams, it is possible for the devotees to have the Darshanam of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamyvaru with utmost satisfaction and majority devotees particularly aged persons, Nursing women. Patients, Kids etc may not wait hours together in the Darshanam Queue lines. says release.
