DECEMBER 2018: Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi announced the appointment of Vinayak Patnekar as the Hotel Manager . A seasoned hotelier, Vinayak brings with him over 18 years of rich hospitality experience and is known for dynamism and depth. Mr. Patnekar has been associated with leading hotels across India and served in different capacities.
He has a long and rewarding association with Marriott International and has served as Director of Operations at Courtyard by Marriott Agra , Fairfield by Marriott Lucknow and Courtyard by Marriott Raipur. Having worked with Marriott International in various capacities, over the years, he is well conversant with global standards of hospitality .
In his new role, Mr. Patnekar will effectively leverage his experience of managing diverse leadership responsibilities of Guest Services, Rooms Division Management, F&B Operations, Administration, Project Management, conceptualizing events, driving revenues and managing human assets at Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi.
Mr Patnekar, on his part says, “As a Goan , managing a property so close to my home town is a wonderful feeling. A lot of guests travel here from Goa already and apart from that this is an amazing property and I look forward to the new challenge here .
