On the occasion of the New Year-2022, greetings to all on behalf of National Human Rights Commission, India. Let us afresh resolve to protect the people’s right to life, liberty, dignity and equality in various facets including socio, economic, cultural and political rights, more so, when we are celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav on the occasion of 75th year of our independence.
The last two years have been a tough time for humanity across the globe mainly due to COVID-19 pandemic. We face new challenges which require new strategic approach. We wish and hope that the New Year-2022 will bring respite to the people from distress caused by this pandemic. Even as fresh scare of Omicron variant is on the rise, we can together face and fight this virus by our determined efforts.
The NHRC, India is committed to continue to engage with human development and welfare for over all good to the humanity.
