Abdul Azeem, Chairman, Karnataka State Minorities Commission visited Sri 108 Kamakumara Nandi Maharaj Social Welfare Ashram situated at Hirekodi, Chikkodi Taluk, Belagavi district today where the Jain Muni Sri 108 Kamakumara Nandi Maharaja was brutally murdered. He inspected the Ashram in presence of Police Officers. Sanjeev Patil, Superintendent of Police, Belagavi district briefed about the details of the case. The Chairman also gave bit of advice to officers for thorough investigation and to arrest the accused who are all responsible for the offence directly and indirectly. He also instructed to do speedy investigation and to do their best to get the conviction in this case and get death penalty to the culprits. The Chairman also heard the grievances of the local Jain Community and consoled them assuring that a factual report in this regard will be submitted to the Government.
