CII Karnataka Healthcare Conclave 2026 Reaffirms Collaborative Action for Technology-Driven, Patient-Centric Healthcare.

“Transforming Healthcare through Technology & Human Care” takes centre stage as policymakers, healthcare leaders and industry experts deliberate on the future of healthcare.

 Bengaluru, 30 July 2026: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Karnataka successfully  convened the CII Karnataka Healthcare Conclave 2026 under the theme “Reimagining Healthcare for a Healthier India: Transforming Healthcare through Technology & Human Care” on 30 July 2026 at Bengaluru. The conclave brought together senior government officials, healthcare providers, medical professionals, industry leaders and technology innovators to deliberate on building a resilient, accessible and technology-enabled healthcare ecosystem for India.

Delivering the keynote inaugural address, Dr Rajani M, Director, Health & Family Welfare Services, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, Government of Karnataka, said: “Karnataka has consistently been a pioneer in advancing public healthcare through innovation, digital health and a vibrant startup ecosystem. The state has made significant progress in digitising patient health records and leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas through digital health initiatives and connected care. The Government works closely with healthcare startups, enabling them to develop and scale innovative technologies that strengthen the healthcare ecosystem. Continued collaboration between government, industry and innovators will be key to building a more resilient, accessible and future-ready healthcare system.”

Addressing the gathering, Dr Vijayabaskaran Sundararaju, Convenor, CII Karnataka Healthcare Taskforce & Executive Director, Kauvery Hospitals, said: “India’s healthcare transformation will be driven by technology, innovation and compassionate care. Building a future-ready healthcare ecosystem requires stronger collaboration between government, industry, healthcare providers and startups. A greater focus on Healthcare 2030, AI, digital health, smart hospitals and patient-centric care will be key to delivering accessible and sustainable healthcare for all.”

Dr Nagesh NS, Director, Institute of Gastroenterology Sciences & Organ Transplant, said: “The future of healthcare lies in combining clinical excellence with digital innovation. AI, precision medicine and data-driven healthcare are transforming patient care, enabling faster diagnosis, better outcomes and a more efficient healthcare ecosystem.”

Mr Sharad Bajpai, Co-Convenor, CII Karnataka Healthcare Taskforce & General Manager, Teleflex India, said: “Healthcare has become a strategic imperative, requiring greater agility, innovation and collaboration. The conclave featured insightful discussions on digital health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, medical technologies, hospital transformation, patient-centric care, workforce development and the future of healthcare innovation. Participants underscored the importance of fostering stronger industry collaborations to accelerate innovation, improve healthcare accessibility and enhance the quality of care across India.

The conclave witnessed participation from 100+ delegate representing leading healthcare organisations, hospitals, medical technology companies and healthcare service providers.
