Karnataka at 100 Days: CM Shivakumar Outlines Strategic Push for Investments and Job Creation.

Leaders inaugurating the program “Strong Karnataka’s resolve – the chariot of progress along the path of the century” and emphasizing the importance of democracy and guarantee schemes

Bangalore September 10 (Karnataka News):-
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that the government has taken a new resolve to build a strong and resilient Karnataka by prioritizing health, education, water security, investment, job creation and regional balance.
Speaking at the “Drudh Karnataka’s Resolve: Path of the Century, Chariot of Progress” program held at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall on the occasion of the completion of 100 days of the government led by him, the Chief Minister said that several schemes have been launched to provide new impetus to farmers and the agricultural sector and support to the agricultural sector.
The ‘Mukhyamantrigala Negila Yogi’ scheme, which will provide subsidized ploughing facilities to small farmers with less than three acres of land, will be implemented. The Chief Minister announced the ‘Teaga Siri’ scheme, which will provide 70% of the income to farmers who plant teak saplings on the roadside and cultivate them, and the ‘Gramanubhav’ scheme, which will introduce rural life to urban students.
Empowerment of the landless and youth:
The government has decided to provide free houses and plots to the homeless poor of all castes and religions, including families belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in rural areas. It is also said that the current target is to allocate 5 lakh plots to the homeless in rural areas this year.
An annual grant of Rs 1,000 crore has been reserved for organizing ‘Bharat Jodo Yuva Sangh’ in every panchayat for the youth community. He said that ‘Udyog Nidhi’, which provides Rs 2,500 per job to private employment creation organizations in rural areas, and ‘Yuva Udyog Setu’, which provides training for private sector job opportunities, are being launched.
Education, AI and industrial progress:
The government is planning to provide 7.5 percent reservation in higher education to rural students who studied in government schools. In rural areas, 1,000 KPS public schools will be built with the help of the World Bank and CSR. To take a step forward in the field of technology, a government-sponsored ‘AI University’ is being set up for the first time in the country, and artificial intelligence (AI) education will be provided from class 6 itself, he said.
In the industrial sector, Rs 43,214 crore has been approved for investment in 100 days. Global technology centers will be set up in Kalaburagi, Belgaum, Hubballi-Dharwad, Mangalore and Mysore. Separate ministries will be created to encourage Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and attract investment in the state, he said.
Achievement Report card:
The CM expressed his grand resolve to increase Karnataka’s economy to 1 trillion dollars by 2037. The Department of Public Service and the 6th guarantee ‘Land Guarantee’ through digitization of property records and The work of clearing the podi is in progress.
In the last three years, a total of Rs 1,45,416 crore has been allocated for Pancha Guarantee Schemes, and assistance has reached 2.70 crore beneficiaries. Under the Grihalakshmi Scheme, Rs 76,951 crore has been spent on 1.24 crore women, Rs 30,522 crore for Grihaljyoti, Rs 21,054 crore for Annabhagya, and Rs 15,735 crore has been spent on 821 crore free travel under the Shakti Scheme. In the last three years, the state has received an investment of Rs 2.53 lakh crore, and the GDP has grown by 8.1 percent, said Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Apart from continuing the schemes implemented by our government, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is also trying to come up with new programs with his new ideas. Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah praised the government under his leadership and said that it is moving on the right path.
Speaking at the inauguration of the “Drudh Karnataka Sankalpa – Shatakada Patha Pragatiya Rath” programme organised on the occasion of the successful completion of 100 days of the D.K. Shivakumar-led government, he said that in a democratic system, the people are the owners. The Constitution aims to eliminate inequality by fulfilling the promises made by the government.
Despite criticism from opposition parties, 5 guarantee schemes have been successfully implemented and delivered to the poor. More than 158 out of 165 manifesto promises have been fulfilled.
Drought relief and the Centre’s stance:
Siddaramaiah expressed his anger by saying that the central government did not immediately provide relief for the state’s drought situation; it released Rs. 3,500 crore only after the Supreme Court intervened.
Public Service: He called on every minister to listen to the grievances of the people by conducting ‘Janasandarshan’ in their districts.
