Stuttgart. “La Libertad”, “Sofia” and “El Mismo Sol”: these are just three of the big hits by Alvaro Soler. The Spanish-German pop singer has already scooped up more than 30 gold, platinum and diamond awards. His songs have been streamed almost 390 million times on Spotify alone, and his YouTube channel is followed by more than 1.7 million fans each day. He is sure to inspire those in attendance on Friday, 10 July 2020 at the Mercedes-Benz Museum once again.

Wanda (11 July 2020): Vienna-based rock band Wanda plays powerful rock ’n’ roll featuring lyrics packed with ironic Viennese dialect. Established in 2012, Wanda has just released its new album entitled “Ciao!”. Together with its predecessors “Amore”, “Bussi” and “Niente”, the quintet is celebrated by a huge following and is certain to please the Stuttgart audience.
Sido (12 July 2020): The rap star and Voice of Germany judge once again shot to number one in the German charts with his eighth solo album entitled “Ich & keine Maske” (myself and no mask). Sido is launching his “Tausend Tattoos Tour” (a thousand tattoos tour) in winter 2019 and will be stopping off with his new show, new songs and well-known hits at Mercedes-Benz Concert Summer.
Children’s and family day with free admission to the museum on 12 July 2020
The big children’s and family day in and around the Mercedes-Benz Museum will also take place on 12 July 2020 – including free admission to the permanent exhibition and around two dozen agenda items for any age group. In 2019 the event attracted about 12,000 visitors.
Mercedes-Benz Concert Summer premiered in 2017. Previous highlights on stage included Freundeskreis (2017) and Clueso (2018). 2019 saw Andreas Bourani, Cro, Max Herre and Walk Off The Earth perform on the festival’s stage. A total of over 30,000 people flocked to the music event and family day in 2019.
Concert Summer is a cooperation between Mercedes-Benz Museum and Stuttgart-based concert promoter Chimperator Live with Four Artists Events as well as Stuttgart-based communication agency 0711 Livecom.
