CII Karnataka’s leadership congratulates Mr. Siddaramaiah, the new Chief Minister of Karnataka state, and Mr. DK Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, who took oath today in the city and look forward to working with the government on inclusive industrial development and enhancing the ease of doing business for the state.
Congratulating the newly sworn-in CM and Dy CM, Mr. Vijaykrishnan Venkatesan, Chairman of CII Karnataka State Council and Managing Director, Kennametal India Ltd, expressed his gratitude for highlighting the government’s priorities going forward. He also added that CII shall work with the government to continue its efforts in key areas of industrial development, MSME engagement and outreach, internationalization, and building trust through initiatives on good governance.
The focus on the implementation of various government schemes in a time-bound manner by the new government, led by the power-packed duo of Mr. Siddaramaiah and Mr. DK Shivakumar, along with the cabinet ministers, will certainly bring a positive impact on the overall growth and development of the state, shared Mr. N Venu, Vice Chairman of CII Karnataka State Council and Managing Director of Hitachi Energy India Ltd.
CII has been working very closely with the Government of Karnataka in matters related to policy advocacy, sustainability, labor reforms, competitiveness, entrepreneurship, skill development, and empowering MSMEs, besides the constant engagement towards industrial development beyond Bengaluru, aligning with the government’s growth focus.
With 600+ members across the state, CII has a very strong presence in Karnataka . With its presence spread beyond Bengaluru across districts like Mysuru, Belagavi, Hubballi – Dharward, and Mangaluru, CII strives to work for the holistic growth of the state and driving competitiveness of the industries and society.
