At the start of the spring, Holi, the festival of colours is celebrated amid serenity, liveliness, and with music. As a part of this, Ekatvam is bringing colour and music together at the Ekatvam Holi Music Fest 2023 at the Bangalore Gayana Samaja from March 10th – 12th 2023. Six concerts from upcoming and renowned artists will enthral you with their genius. So, seek the colour in music and the music in colour.
Rajmohan Krishnan, founder of Ekatvam says “I am thrilled to announce the 3rd edition of the Holi Music festival. In the past, Ekatvam has proudly featured emerging artists such as Siddharth Belmannu, Kalynapuram S. Aravind, HM Smitha, Akshay Anand, and the renowned Sufi artist Mukhtiyar Ali. This year’s festival will continue to shine a spotlight on some immensely talented up-and-coming Hindustani and Carnatic musicians with a focus on duo performances by artists such as the Akkarai Sisters (S Subhalakshmi and S Sornalatha), the Chilkunda Sisters (Lakshmi Nagaraj & Indu Nagaraj), and others. For the first time, a novel attempt has been made where two pairs of Carnatic musicians will share the stage and perform as a pair and also as a quartet”
As always, Ekatvam is committed to giving back to the community and supporting those in need. The proceeds from the upcoming Ekatvam events will be used to support elderly care initiatives. Additionally, Ekatvam is proud to share that they have begun working on setting up their first elderly care facility in Kerala.
