September 26, 2019: KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, will deliver elevators and escalators to JiNan PingAn IFC, a new mixed-use development in the capital of Shandong province in eastern China. Rising up to 360 meters and comprising 70 storeys, JiNan PingAn IFC will become the second highest building in Jinan and include office space, a hotel, and a high-end shopping center.
JiNan PingAn IFC is located in the Jinan Central Business District. Once finished, it is expected to accelerate the development of the area as well as to further enhance the image of the city.
To ensure safe and smooth people flow, KONE will deliver 44 KONE MiniSpace® elevators, 16 KONE MonoSpace® elevators, and 14 KONE TravelMaster110® escalators to the new building. Additionally, the building will be equipped with KONE E-Link™ equipment monitoring system that will enable monitoring the performance of all of the elevators and escalators in real time from a single location. The contract also includes two years of standard maintenance.

The JiNan PingAn IFC project is expected to be completed in 2022 and it is being developed by Ping An Real Estate Co., Ltd. The architect is Hanjia Design Group Co., Ltd.
KONE booked the order in the second quarter of 2019.
