NEUBERG ANAND LAUNCHES FEVER CLINIC IN BENGALURU

Bengaluru,: India’s fourth largest pathology player, Neuberg Diagnostics, launched an ultramodern COVID-19 fever clinic in Bengaluru today. With our Honourable Prime Minister emphasizing on the need to increase testing, Neuberg Anand aims to provide a hassle-free testing experience with this one-of-a-kind future-ready clinic.

Based on ICMR and State government guidelines, some of the features of the fever clinic include a separate entrance and open-air waiting area, hermetically sealed areas between patient and healthcare worker, and biosafety booth with negative pressure. After a patient leaves, the air inside the chamber is sucked out and passed through HEPA filter and once the virus is trapped, UVC rays are used to kill all viruses. The walls of the booth are also IPA sanitized after every patient is swabbed. The clinic follows the strictest protocols to prevent transmission of any infection. It will also have an on-site doctor for consultation.

After getting approval from ICMR, Neuberg is now conducting COVID-19 RT-PCR test from 6 of its labs across India. It was the first private chain to get approval in Bangalore (Neuberg Anand), Ahmedabad (NeubergSupratech), Chennai (Neuberg Ehrlich) and Pune (Neuberg A.G Diagnostics), and it is also the first private lab to get RT-PCR and TrueNat approval from ICMR, in Kerala.
