Southern Command Adventure Challenge Cup cum Selection Trials 2022 is organized under the aegis of The MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre, Belgaum with effect from 15 Dec to 18 Dec 2022 at Kali River, Dandeli. The aim of the competition is to select the best two teams for Army Adventure Cup 2022 scheduled from13-19 Feb 2023 at river Siang in general area of Yingkiong in Arunachal Pradesh.
The championship cum selection trials comprisingof following events:-
(a) Mountain Terrain Biking
(b) Rock Climbing
(c) HillRunning
(d) River Rafting.
Nine teams from the Southern Command Theatrecomprising of 10 members each,participating in theSouthern Command Adventure Challenge Cup cum Selection Trials 2022.
Brig Joydip Mukherjee, Commandant The MARATHA Light Infantry Regimental Centre, Belgaum inaugurated the Southern Command Adventure Challenge Cup cum Selection Trials on behalf of Army Commander, Headquarter Southern Command at Dandeli, near Supa Dam on 15 Dec 2022.
