One of the prestigious charitable awards of Kannada Sahitya Parishad, “Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Charity Award” has been announced.

This time the selection committee has selected former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda for “Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Endowment Award” for the year 2022. He fully devoted himself for the all-round development of Kannada nation including the development of irrigation sector, agriculture sector and industrial sector of the country, being the son of a farmer in the state, being a civil engineer, he fully involved himself in politics and giving due justice to the various statuses that were assigned to him, he was the first to rise from the post of Chief Minister to the highest position of the country, the Prime Minister.
