One of the prestigious charitable awards of Kannada Sahitya Parishad, “Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Charity Award” has been announced.
Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, who is the country’s senior political figure, the first Kannadigar to rise to the post of Prime Minister, the son of true Kannada pride who has always been passionate about Kannada Nadu, will be the recipient of “Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Endowment Award” in 2022, President of Kannada Sahitya Parishad Nadoja Dr. . The basic purpose of this charity award is to give an endowment award. The award is Rs 51,000/-. It is said that it will include cash, souvenir and fruit tambulas.
So far, 12 prominent people of the country have been given the prestigious “Shri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Endowment Award” of the council. This time the selection committee has selected former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda for “Sri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Endowment Award” for the year 2022. He fully devoted himself for the all-round development of Kannada nation including the development of irrigation sector, agriculture sector and industrial sector of the country, being the son of a farmer in the state, being a civil engineer, he fully involved himself in politics and giving due justice to the various statuses that were assigned to him, he was the first to rise from the post of Chief Minister to the highest position of the country, the Prime Minister. He was concerned about the Kannada Sahitya Parishad and from time to time gave his suggestions to the council and expressed his appreciation for the recent development of the council. “When he was informed about the fact that he has been selected for the Shri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Endowment Award for the year 2022, he went to his residence and when requested to receive the award, Deve Gowda wholeheartedly agreed and expressed his happiness for the award.
