*Bengaluru, September 20:* The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board has approved the construction of a new temple in *Belagavi, a move aimed at benefiting devotees from **North Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra, announced TTD Board Member **S. Naresh Kumar* at a press conference held at Sri Venkateswara Temple, Vyalikaval, Malleswaram.
The resolution was passed at the TTD Board meeting on September 16, 2025. “Like the temples already established in Bengaluru and other parts of the country, the Belagavi temple will bring Lord Venkateswara closer to devotees in this region. The temple is proposed near *Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi*, and will be built through the Srivani Trust. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu is expected to visit Belagavi shortly to review the site and oversee next steps.
