Toyota would like to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
In response to the situation, Toyota Motor Corporation has decided to provide the following emergency aid.
- Provision of relief supplies and lending of vehicles to disaster-affected municipalities
In cooperation with vehicle dealers, Toyota Rental & Leasing stores, Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc., and related group companies, we will provide relief supplies, lend vehicles, and dispatch disaster relief volunteers to the affected municipalities and other organizations, including the deployment of power supply vehicles, such as the Moving e, to supply emergency power at evacuation centers. We will work to provide appropriate support while carefully identifying what aid is most needed.
- Donations and relief funds
A total of 30 million yen will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society, the Central Community Chest of Japan, and Japan Platform.
We will continue to provide the support needed by consulting with the government, local governments, and relief organizations, as well as carefully confirming the local situation.
We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.
