







Special prayers at Ganagapur Dattatreya for the prosperity and development of the country: CM DK Shivakumar

CM DK Shivakumar said that he prayed to Ganagapur Dattatreya for relief from the severe drought in the state, good rains and crops in the country, and peace and tranquility.
He gave a statement to the media after visiting and offering prayers at the Sannanda of Sri Dattatreya Swamy in Ganagapur on Thursday.
Gangapur is the holiest and greatest holy place in South India. It is firmly believed that the wishes of the devotees who come here are fulfilled. During my difficult times and journey of development, the priests and devotees here had continuously prayed for me and for the welfare of the state. Today is a very auspicious day. I have got the privilege of praying to the Lord during the 79th Kalyana Karnataka Utsav, he said.
Infrastructure Development for Gangapur Constituency:
Our government has already announced appropriate plans for the comprehensive development of the Gangapur constituency and for providing necessary facilities to the devotees. He assured that the development works of the constituency will be taken up in a phased manner as per the request of the local MLAs and the District In-charge Minister.
The state is facing a drought situation. BJP party leaders did not discuss the issue in the session, but only did politics. He said that a special session has been called for 3 days from the 21st of this month to discuss the drought.
Minister Priyank Kharge, MLA M. Y. Allama Prabhu Patil, Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation Chairman Arun Kumar M. Y. Patil and others were present.
