Bengaluru, July 27, (Karnataka News):
The Department of Social Welfare has invited applications for financial assistance to unemployed graduates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to start their own businesses in the electronic and digital media sector.
Eligible candidates who wish to set up these media units within the metropolitan area will be provided with a subsidy of 70% of the project cost or up to a maximum of Rs. 5.00 lakhs. The last date for submission of applications is 31st July 2026.
Interested and eligible candidates are requested to submit the prescribed application form along with all the required documents to the central office by July 31, 2026, the Assistant Director (Grade-1) of the Social Welfare Department, Anekal Taluk said in a notification.
