Civil Police Constable Recruitment: Physical tests to begin from September 28 – Zone-wise schedule announced
Complete details of the examination centres reserved for 19,396 candidates who qualified for a total of 3,991 posts
Bangalore, September 25 (Karnataka News):
The State Police Recruitment Department has officially released the schedule for the very important Physical Fitness Test (PST) and Endurance Test (ET) for the recruitment of Civil Police Constable (RPC and KK) posts.
A total of 3,991 posts are being filled under this massive recruitment drive, and a total of 19,396 eligible candidates selected at various stages across the state will participate in these physical tests.
While 16,454 candidates have qualified for the examination for a total of 3,395 posts in the Residency Primary Cadre (RPC), 2,942 candidates have been selected for the physical examination for 596 posts in the Kalyana Karnataka (KK) Cadre.
Residual Source Corps (RPC) Exam Details:
Bangalore City Unit: There are 2,015 posts under this unit, for which a total of 9,887 candidates have qualified. The examination will be held from September 28 to October 05, 2026.
The exams will be held at CAR (HQ) Sirsi Circle Grounds in Chamarajpet, CAR (South) Grounds in Adugodi and CAR (North) Parade Grounds on Thanishandra Main Road in R.K. Hegde Nagar.
Central Zone: 946 candidates will contest for 200 posts including Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Tumkur, Bangalore district and railway units.
Their exams will be held from September 28th to October 03rd, 2026 at the 3rd Battalion KSRP Ground, opposite Madiwala Market, Koramangala, Bengaluru.
Southern Zone: 1,891 candidates have been selected for 395 posts in Mysore City, Mysore District, Hassan, Kodagu, Chamarajanagar and Mandya units.
They will undergo a physical examination from September 28 to October 05, 2026 at the City Arms Reserve (CAR) Parade Ground, located behind the Race Course in Mysore.
Eastern Zone: 1,234 candidates are eligible to appear for the examination for 250 posts in the jurisdiction of Shivamogga, Haveri, Davangere and Chitradurga units.
Their examination will be held from September 29 to October 06, 2026 at the grounds of Keladi Shivappa Nayak University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Navile, Shivamogga.
Western Zone: 1,803 candidates are contesting for 395 posts in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada (Karwar), Chikkamagaluru and Mangalore urban units.
He has been scheduled to undergo a physical examination from September 28th to October 3rd, 2026 at the Mangala Stadium in Lalbagh, Mangalore.
North Zone: 549 candidates have qualified for 110 posts covering Gadag and Hubballi-Dharwad urban units.
The exam will be held on September 29th and 30th, 2026 at the 2nd Battalion KSRP Ground in Machche, near VTU, Belgaum.
Bellary Zone (RPC): 144 candidates will appear for the exam for 30 posts in Bellary and Raichur units.
The examination for them will be held from October 05 to October 06, 2026 at KSRP PTS Ground (IRB Campus) near Hosahalli, Munirabad, Koppal.
Kalyana Karnataka (KK) cadre exam details:
COP Bangalore City (KK): 833 candidates will be eligible for 171 posts in this section and the physical test will be held simultaneously on October 08, 2026 at CAR Parade Ground (HQ) in Chamarajpet, Bengaluru and CAR Parade Ground (South) in Adugodi.
Bellary Zone (KK Units): 869 candidates have qualified for 174 posts in Koppal, Raichur, Bellary and Vijayanagara units.
The physical examination will be conducted at the KSRP PTS Ground in Munirabad Hosahalli, Koppal from 12th to 15th October 2026.
North Eastern Region: 1,240 candidates have been selected for 251 posts in Kalaburagi city, Kalaburagi district and Bidar units.
Their exam will be held from 12th to 14th October 2026 at the 6th Battalion KSRP Ground, Taj Sultanpur, Kalaburagi.
