Tirupati, 25 October 2025: In connection with the sacred month of Karthika, a month-long special pujas and Homa Mahotsavams will be conducted at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati from October 22 to November 20.
The rituals will commence with Ankurarpanam on October 22 as per Saivagama Shastra.
On October 22 and 23, Sri Ganapathi Homam will be performed, followed by Sri Subrahmanya Swamy Homam from October 24–26.
On October 27, Sri Dakshinamurthy Swamy Homam, on October 28, Sri Navagraha Homam will take place.
Similarly, Sri Kala Bhairava Swamy Homam will be held on October 29, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru (Chandi Homam) from October 30 to November 7, Sri Kapileswara Swamy (Rudra Homam) from November 8 to 18, Dharma Shastra Homam on November 19, and Sri Chandikeswara Swamy Homam, Trishula Snanam, and Panchamurthy Teppotsavam on November 20.
Devotees (two persons per ticket) can participate in any Homam by paying Rs. 500/- per day.
Participants will receive one upper cloth, one blouse piece, and prasadam. All participants must attend in traditional attire only.
As part of these Mahotsavams, Sri Subrahmanya Swamy Kalyanam (with Sri Valli and Devasena) will be performed on October 27, and Sri Shiva-Parvati Kalyanotsavam will be conducted on November 18, on the auspicious day of Masa Sivaratri.
Devotees can participate in Kalyanam by paying Rs. 500/- per ticket on which two will be allowed.
