
Bengaluru: Law students should have social responsibility and should be engaged in the work of preserving the welfare of the society, said Srishail Bhimashen Bagadi, Member Secretary of the Bangalore Rural District Legal Services Authority and Senior Civil Judge.

Inaugurating a legal services clinic at the Legal Aid Clinic of ICFAI Law School in collaboration with the city’s ICFAI Law School and the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, he spoke at the ‘Diksha Rambha’ educational program for the current year’s B.B.A., L.L.B. students, and said that students should know about the importance of legal aid. They should strive to create a system where everyone gets equal justice. Justice is a very great responsibility.
Venkatesh, a member of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, said that students should learn about common law right away. If there is interaction with the society, the ability to resolve disputes very quickly will come.
The inauguration of the Legal Services Clinic marked the official launch of legal awareness, free legal aid and social service activities. The team was led by Student Coordinator S.V. Varsha.
IFHE Vice Chancellor Prof. Muddu Vinay, ICFAI Law School and Head of Department, Bangalore Campus Prof. Dr. Vinay Joshi, IFHE Dr. Rajshree Patil and others were present.
