Travelers on the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore route will be able to enjoy more flexibility with the new fare family
KLIA, 6 December 2019: Malaysia Airlines will be launching a first-of-its-kind fare option for travelers flying between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore with the airline. Beginning 10 December 2019, customers will be able to enjoy a new fare family called Shuttle Fares.
The Shuttle fares are divided into three fare structures—Business Flex Shuttle, Economy Flex Shuttle and Economy Smart Shuttle. These fares allow for greater flexibility and convenience for travelers flying direct between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
The Shuttle fares offer multiple perks, which include changing from the original schedule to an earlier flight on the same day with no penalty, waiver of fee for dates or flight change, and dedicated Shuttle check in counter in both KL International Airport (KLIA) and Changi Airport, Singapore. These fares also include complimentary check-in baggage allowance of 40kg for Business Flex Shuttle, 35kg for Economy Flex Shuttle and 30kg for Economy Smart Shuttle.
The Shuttle fares is in response to the demands of both business and leisure travelers between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore who would like more freedom and flexibility in their travel schedule, at an attractive price point.
In conjunction with this introduction, Malaysia Airlines will be giving discounts of up to 20% off on the Business Shuttle, Economy Flex Shuttle and Economy Smart Shuttle fares. From 10 until 27 December 2019, customers can avail these fares at a discounted price which customers can enjoy for immediate travel up until 30 June 2020.
The Shuttle fares are available only on direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore or from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Airlines. These fares can be purchased via all its appointed travel agents, as well as Malaysia Airlines ticket offices, call centres and website, www.malaysiaairlines.com.
The new Shuttle fare family will replace the Business Flex, Economy Flex and Economy Smart on the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore return route.
