BENGALURU-
For decades, midlife health for Indian women has been defined by a quiet, collective endurance. While adolescence and pregnancy have gradually found space in public discourse, the profound biological transition of perimenopause and menopause—affecting an estimated 150 million women in India—has remained shrouded in social taboo, misdiagnosis, and silence.
Enter Miror Therapeutics, a Bengaluru-headquartered Femtech platform that is rewriting this narrative. Founded in 2020 by serial entrepreneur Sanjith Shetty, Miror is pioneering a data-driven, empathetic approach to midlife wellness, transforming what was once considered an invisible struggle into a celebrated “second act.”
From Personal Empathy to a National Ecosystem
The inspiration behind Miror was born close to home. Watching his wife and mother navigate the unaddressed symptoms and emotional weight of perimenopause, Sanjith recognized a massive, systemic gap in Indian healthcare. Women were frequently left without clear medical guidance, often misdiagnosed with general fatigue, anxiety, or age-related decline.
Menopause isn’t the end of a woman’s active life—it’s a critical bridge to her long-term health and longevity,” says Sanjith Shetty, Founder and CEO of Miror Therapeutics. “We wanted to replace confusion and stigma with what we call the ‘Science of Certainty.
Drawing on his Industrial Engineering background and a Duke Fuqua MBA, Sanjith tackled the issue with a rigorous systems-thinking approach. This led to the creation of Miror—an integrated platform offering AI-driven symptom tracking, tailored nutraceutical solutions, and a thriving community of more than 75,000 women.
Clinical Excellence Meets Accessibility
Miror’s platform is designed to make specialized care accessible to every Indian household, breaking down both geographical and linguistic barriers:
• Multilingual Care: Operating across over 25 languages, Miror connects women with specialized gynecologists, nutritionists, and mental health experts.
• Evidence-Based HRT: Hosting India’s first “HRT Centre of Excellence,” Miror collaborates with members of the Indian Menopause Society to provide safe, evidence-backed pathways for Hormone Replacement Therapy.
• Tailored Formulations: Products like Miror Bliss and Revive are specifically formulated for the unique metabolic and physiological needs of Indian women in midlife.
Grassroots Impact & Workplace Inclusion
Miror’s vision extends well beyond digital consults. Recognizing that healthcare disparity is starkest in rural India, Miror partnered with the Government of Karnataka and the National Health Mission to train thousands of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA workers). These frontline workers are now equipped to identify perimenopausal symptoms in rural communities, driving public health awareness from the ground up.
Simultaneously, Sanjith is leading the conversation in corporate boardrooms. With millions of senior female professionals leaving the workforce during their peak earning years due to unmanaged symptoms, Miror works with corporate India to build menopause-inclusive HR policies, preserving key leadership talent.
