Over 43 companies and 215+ fundraisers drive community impact ~
~ Changemakers across sectors unite to support causes ranging from education to healthcare and beyond ~
Bengaluru, 21st April 2026: The Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru returns with renewed vigour for its 18th edition, bringing together the social sector in the spirit of #EndendiguBengaluru, Forever Bengaluru.
The event’s philanthropy pillar, driven by United Way Bengaluru with the support of corporates, individuals, and runners, has already raised over ₹5 crores this year, benefiting 94+ NGOs across 16 causes.
Over the years, this platform has grown phenomenally, raising over ₹59.20 crores for more than 260 NGOs, and has evolved into South India’s largest sporting platform for philanthropy. This year alone, 43+ companies and over 215 individual fundraisers have come together, demonstrating the power of collective giving at the region’s biggest running festival.
This year’s edition has seen a resounding commitment to social causes, with 38 companies fielding teams comprising a total of 2500+ employees in support of the Charities and causes that are near and dear to them, encouraging the spirit of social giving as well as employee engagement while creating a socially conscious organisation.
The leaderboard is led by GoSports Foundation (Sports) with ₹81.88 lakh, followed by Right To Live (Education) and United Way Bengaluru (Poverty & Nutrition), both raising over ₹38 lakh each. In the healthcare space, Neonates Foundation of India and Bangalore Kidney Foundation have raised ₹33.59 lakh and ₹29.55 lakh, respectively, reflecting strong, well-rounded support across sports, education, nutrition, and healthcare causes.
In the education category, CRY – Child Rights and You lead with ₹23.14 lakh, followed closely by Reaching Hand with ₹22.42 lakh, and Gubbachi with ₹15.77 lakh, highlighting strong support for child-centric education and community learning initiatives.
With top NGOs individually raising ₹2.83 crore, the leaderboard reflects both scale and depth, supported by a growing ecosystem of individual fundraisers, young changemakers, corporate teams, and institutions. As Bengaluru comes together once again, the TCS World 10K Bengaluru reinforces its position as a powerful platform where running meets purpose—turning collective action into lasting social change.
Corporate participation continues to be a strong pillar of the fundraising ecosystem, led by ASM Technologies, which has raised an impressive ₹74.10 lakh in support of GoSports Foundation. This is followed by OpenText contributing ₹25.57 lakh for United Way Bengaluru, and AtkinsRéalis raising ₹25 lakh for Right To Live. Herman Miller Furniture has also made a notable contribution of ₹13.50 lakh towards Sense International, reflecting sustained corporate commitment across diverse causes.
Among institutions, JJ Runners has made a notable contribution, raising ₹6.51 lakh in support of multiple causes including Youth for Seva, Sambhaav Foundation, and Neonates Foundation of India—demonstrating the power of collective community-driven fundraising.
Individual fundraisers continue to drive remarkable impact, with Usha Baliga emerging as a Change Champion, raising an outstanding ₹28.96 lakh for Bangalore Kidney Foundation. She is followed by Radha & Partha (₹10.26 lakh for We Live Foundation) and Luke Nina (₹9.90 lakh for Reaching Hand).
In the Impact Creator category, Sudhir Shetty (₹6.34 lakh for Veer Ratna Foundation) and Balasubramaniam (₹4.08 lakh for eVidya Loka) highlight the growing influence of individual-led giving, reinforcing the spirit of purpose-driven fundraising.
Young philanthropists are emerging as powerful changemakers, with Tia Bali leading the category by raising ₹5.98 lakh for Neonates Foundation of India. She is followed by Tabitha S Pitchappa (₹2.39 lakh for Reaching Hand) and Johann Mathew Kurian (₹1.53 lakh for Vayah Vikas).
Further contributions from Ayan Ghosh, Siva Sabari Rahul K, Siddharth, and Suhani Agarwal—each raising over ₹1 lakh—highlight the growing influence of youth-led giving across causes like education, healthcare, and animal welfare.

“Seeing injured and abandoned animals up close changed something in me. What started as volunteering soon became a mission to do more. Raising ₹1 lakh in just two weeks wasn’t about the number, it was about inspiring others to care, to contribute, and to realise that even small actions can make a real difference for animals who cannot speak for themselves,” 11-year-old Animal Welfare Fundraiser Siddharth commented.
Visually-impaired fundraiser Idiculla Markose said, “Elderly care, for me, is about restoring dignity and human connection. Spending time with them brings purpose to my own life, but it also reflects a growing reality, people are living longer, and families often struggle to provide care. This is no longer just a personal responsibility, but a societal one that needs compassion, structured support, and committed individuals to step forward.
