

Nyayamitra Cooperative Society’s Beli Mahotsav– Allotment of necessary land for the construction of residential premises and community hall for lawyers
Bengaluru, October 25:
Supreme Court Justice Arvind Kumar advised young lawyers starting their legal careers to start their careers in the trial court, as the quality of professional experience they get here cannot be found anywhere else.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the silver jubilee celebrations of Nyayamitra Cooperative Society on Saturday along with Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar at the Bangalore City Civil Court premises. “The Silver Jubilee is a symbol of stability, connection, commitment and achievement,” he said.
“My career began in the Bar Association. All my achievements are credited to the Bangalore City Civil Court Cooperative Bank,” he said. “I would advise those starting out as lawyers to start your career in the trial court.”
“Because the good professional experience you get here cannot be found anywhere else. Lawyers are like doctors who change society. Lawyers have the power and ability to change society and the country,” he said, sharing the background that led him to become a lawyer.
Supreme Court Justice M.R. Arvind Kumar appealed to the state government to “grant housing plots for lawyers in bulk and provide the land required to build a community hall for lawyers.”
DCM DK Shivakumar spoke at the Nyaya Mitra Sahakari Bank Silver Jubilee-2025 program at the City Civil Court premises in Bengaluru.
