01 June 2018, Bangalore: A full time businessman with a passion for running, Taher Merchant is the first Indian Male (in over a decade) to complete the Everest Base Camp (EBC) 60km Ultra Marathon that took place on 29 May 2018. Known as the world’s highest ultra-running event, the 60KM ultra marathon is extremely adventurous, and the trail passes through five high Himalayan passes.
