Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Bangalore
Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Bangalore TTD Information centre will be celebrating Vaikuntha Ekadashi at 16th Cross,Vyalikaval on December 23, 2023.
A replica of Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple has been opened in the year 2010 by the TTD at Vyalikaval,Bangalore to facilitate darshan to the devotees who are unable to go to Tirumala.Temple is opened daily to the devotees from 05.00 am to 08.30 PM.
Temple authorities are arranging dharshan facilities to all devotees from 2 .00 A.M to 11.00 PM on the eve of Vaikunta Ekadashi on 23.12.2023 & New Year Day 01.01.2024.
Devotees are allowed for Dharshan through Vaikunta Dwaram from 2.00 AM onwards and Annaprasadam will be distributed on Vaikunta Ekadashi on 23.12.2023 & New Year Day 01.01.2024.
Calendars,Dairies,and Laddu Prasadam,TTD products are sold in the premises of S.V.Temple from 2.00 AM to till stocks lasts .Cultural programmes are specially arranged throughout the day at this Temple premises on both occasions.
Thulabaram and Kalyanakatta are also introduced for the sake of devotees who are unable to go to Tirumala due to some reasons may fulfil here.Annadanam is being served to the devotees every day from 12.30 PM to 01.30 PM. Health Camp is being organised to devotees on every Saturday from 09.30 AM to 01.00 PM says release.
SPECIAL PUJAS AT SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM FOR VAIKUNTA EKADASI CELEBRATIONS
Tirupati,18 December 2023: In connection with the Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi celebrations at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram, TTD is organising special pujas.
On the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, the Dhanur masa Kainkaryas including Tomala, kouvu and panchanga Shravana will be held in Ekantham between 12.05-2.30 am in the early hours of December 23 and devotees allowed Sarva Darshan between 2.30 am to evening 4.00 pm.
Earlier between 6.00-7.00 am Swami and Amavaru will be paraded on Bangaru Tiruchi on Mada streets.In the evening Sarva Darshan is provided from 5.00-9.00 pm,
Similarly on December 24 morning after Dhanur masa Kainkaryas etc chakra snanam is performed between 10am and 11 am.
On the new year as per the English calendar day on January 1 after Dhanur masa and daily Kainkaryas Sarva Darshan is provided between 7.00 am to, evening 5.00 pm and again after night Kainkaryas, Darshan is resumed from6.00pm to 8 pm.
In view of the festivities, TTD has cancelled Arjita Kalyanotsavam on December 23, 24 and January 1.
The artists of Dharmic projects and Annamacharya projects present Bhakti sangeet and sankeertans in the temple.
SIGNIFICANCE OF SRIVARI VAIKUNTADWARA DARSHANAM
Tirumala, December 2023: As per the Vaishnava tradition, TTD is organising the ten-day Vaikuntadwara Darshanam at Tirumala Srivari temple from December 23 to January 1 for ten days.
According to the Puranic legend, the importance attached to this unique Vaikuntadwara Darshanam is depicted in an interesting manner.
One day in Vaikunta-the sacred abode of the Universal Protector-Sri Maha Vishnu is considered equivalent to one year on earth.
The 12 hours of daytime in that one day is equal to six six-month period of Uttarayanam while the remaining 12 hours of night is equal to the remaining six months of Dakshinayanam on earth.
In that one day, the early morning 120 minutes in Vaikuntam is equal to 30 days of Dhanurmasa on earth and Sri Maha Vishnu gives Darshan to all the other deities, sages, devotees for 40 minutes during Brahma Muhurtam which is equal to the ten days of Vaikunthadwara Darshanam. These days are being treated as most sacred in begetting the divine bliss. The devotees shall have the Vaikunthadwara Darshanam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala on any of these ten days.

Since rooms are limited at Tirumala, the devotees are requested to opt for rooms in Tirupati during these ten days.As in past break Darshan is provided to VIPs on the protocol list only and no recommendation letters is accepted and granted.Since the impact of Vaikuntadwara Darshan lasts on all ten days, VIPs and other devotees need not feel stress to get Vaikuntadwara Darshanam on Vaikunta Ekadasi day itself. They should make plans to have a comfortable Darshan on any of these ten days.
