Established under the Human Rights Protection Act, 1993, for the protection of human rights and to provide appropriate relief to aggrieved parties in cases of human rights violations. The Karnataka State Human Rights Commission intends to hold sittings in Shivamogga and Davangere districts from 18th to 20th November 2025.
In this context, it is intended to resolve and dispose of the cases registered with the Commission in the respective districts and take action. The complainants and the respondent authorities can make good use of this.
It is also intended to accept complaints and petitions from the public on specified dates in the respective districts, in order to facilitate the public in Shivamogga and Davangere districts regarding human rights violation cases.
The public can contact the Honorable Chairman (Acting) and Honorable Members of the Commission on the specified dates in their respective districts and submit complaints, said A. Dinesh Sampath Raj, Secretary (P) of the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission.
