Mumbai, August 6 th, 2026:
Britannia’s Consolidated Sales for the Quarter ended 30 th June 2026 stands at Rs 4,964 Crores, growing 9.5% and NetProfit stands at Rs 593 Crores, growing 14.1% over the same period last year. The Standalone Sales for the Quarter grew 10.0% over the same period last year.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Rakshit Hargave, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, said:
“The year started with West Asia conflict, leading to a steep increase in cost of fuel and shipment charges across our domestic & international businesses, which we’ve been able to navigate well during this quarter delivering a healthy volume and value growth while also gaining ground against competition, with profits growing ahead of topline in double-digit over last year. Most key categories saw positive sequential momentum as we exited the quarter with a mid-teens revenue growth, anchored by rapid scaling in e-commerce and robust growth in General Trade, aided by higher advertisement, influencers & promotion spends.
We continued to elevate brand salience through high-impact, topical mass media campaigns—such as Marie Gold for Tea Day, NutriChoice for Health Day, and Little Hearts for Mother’s Day. At the same time, localized activations to win in “Many Indias” like the Milk Bikis Thirukkural campaign in Tamil Nadu significantly deepened our regional consumer engagement. Innovation remains a key growth engine, with impulse and indulgent offerings—like our Dubai Kunafa Croissant—further strengthening our portfolio. Our International Business also recovered sequentially as supply chain constraints began normalizing in last part of the quarter.
While we continue to closely monitor the evolving geopolitical situation in West Asia and crude oil volatility for potential impact on international operations and domestic input costs, we will remain agile in our actions to deliver healthy, sustainable revenue growth amidst an improving domestic demand environment, driven by sharp innovation, strong brand investments, and disciplined margin management through accelerated cost efficiency initiatives.
