The Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Luigi Di Maio led delegation called the Chief Minister Mr Basavaraj Bommai in Bengaluru today and showed keen interest in the manufacturing of Granites, Marbles and Tiles in the State,where latest machines from Italy are used, extensively.
The Italian Minister termed Bengaluru as a Science City and said he is enthused to visit the Garden City, where Science is a way of life !
The Chief Minister recalled the long association between India and Italy, and expressed the hope that there is lot of scope for further expansion of business and strengthening of ties under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. Karnataka will be glad to associate with any ventures to be cleared by the Union Government, he added.
Mr Bommai said that the earst while Maharaja of Mysore had laid the foundation for the industrialization. Now, Bengaluru has become the capital for Information Technology and Bio-Technology. The State Government is promoting Start-ups and Unicorn Sector.by extending all facilities and support to create a new future to the upcoming generations,
Many dignitaries including the Minister for Labour Mr Shivaram Hebbar, the Chief Secretary to the State Government Mr P Ravi Kumar, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr N Manjunath Prasad were present on this occasion.
