The Institute Day gives NIMHANS the pause to reflect on and to celebrate the achievements it has made over the decades, reinforcing the constant drive to excel.
Renowned Kannada film actor and Karnataka Rajyotsava Awardee, ‘Pranayaraja’ Dr. Srinath will grace the Institute Day function as the Chief Guest. Dr. Pratima Murthy, Director, NIMHANS will preside over the event
Dr. B. N. Gangadhar, President, Medical Assessment and Rating Board, National Medical Commission (NMC) and former Director, NIMHANS will be felicitated on being conferred the prestigious Padma Shri Award for the year 2020 by the Government of India in recognition of his exemplary service and outstanding contribution in the field of medical science.
Distinguished Service Awards will be presented to the meritorious staff of the Institute. Samatvam, a newsletter brought out by the Department of Integrative Medicine and Darpan, Official Language/Hindi magazine will be released. Advanced digital patient follow-up service will also be launched on the occasion says release.
