In the 15th National Kalaripayat Championship organized by Indian Kalaripayat Federation affiliated by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, New Delhi, Karnataka secured second position in overall championship.
More than 700 contestants from different states participated in three days competitions in sub-junior, junior, senior female and male categories.
For Karnataka,
Dhatri won silver in sub-junior women’s Maypayet category.
Ranjini won bronze in junior women’s category, Bineesh AM and Harinath won gold in sword and shield – senior boys,
Ajith P and Roshan Romario won bronze, and Bineesh AM and Harinath won silver in senior boys’ neduvadi piatt and bronze.
Thanka Salvam and Ajith P bagged bronze, Bineesh AM bagged bronze in Chuvattu and Jithu C bronze in Senior Boys Urumi Veesal.
