Online workshop on bridging the gap between media and education

An online workshop on bridging the gap between media and education through classes on “Empowering Journalism Teachers – Upgrading Media Literacy and Skills” has been organized on May 16 at 10.30 am in collaboration with Karnataka Media Academy, FACT School University Network and Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education Professor of Practice and senior journalist Prof. Kanchan Kaur and Prajavani Deputy Editor-in-Chief Smt. Rashmi.S. and Karnataka Media Academy President and members will participate in this workshop as resource persons.
The online workshop aims to equip teachers with the skills to effectively integrate media literacy into their teaching practice. Certificates will be distributed to all participants, the release said.
