Bangalore, Dec-12: Sri Charan Souharda Co-operative Bank Ltd. of Basavanagudi, which was launched to provide the best of service to its customers has posted a net profit of Rs 1.37 crore as of March 3, 2021, despite the hardship of the Covid epidemic.
The Chairperson of the Bank B V Dwarakanath announced the Bank’s performance at the 25th Annual General Virtual Meeting.
“The bank has made a gross profit of Rs 7 crore in 2020-21 and has made a net profit of Rs 1.37 crore. (Rs. 1,37,96,051.79). If not for the corona pandemic, there would have been further gains. However, this is a positive growth and a good turnover amid Covid. ” Mr. Dwarkanath said.
“The Bank’s Silver Jubilee (25th anniversary) was to be celebrated by 2021. However, due to Covid pandemic it could not ber celebrate. However, the silver jubilee will be celebrated in 2022 and dividends will be paid to all members of the Bank. Various programmes will be organised on the occasion of the silver jubilee”, Mr Dwarakanath added.
The bank’s Vice-President, Mr. Ramamurthy and the bank’s directors were present at the virtual annual general meeting.
