Tirumala, September 29: In a significant spiritual initiative bringing together diverse Gurupeethas on a common platform, 19 Brahmachari Peethadheeshwars and Swamijis representing Backward and SC/ST communities from across Karnataka received darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara at Tirumala. The visiting seers are associated with institutions engaged in spiritual, educational and social service, particularly among weaker and underprivileged communities.
The visit was initiated and coordinated by TTD Board Member S. Naresh Kumar, who personally took up the matter with TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu garu and sought suitable darshan arrangements for the delegation in accordance with TTD rules.
Naresh Kumar said the visit became possible because of the personal support and encouragement extended by the Chairman.
“Bringing spiritual heads from so many Gurupeethas together for the darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara was deeply meaningful. This could happen only because of the wholehearted support of our Chairman B.R. Naidu garu. I am sincerely grateful to him for understanding the importance of this delegation and enabling a dignified darshan,” Naresh Kumar said.
TTD Executive Officer Mudhad Ravichandra and the concerned officials coordinated the darshan timings, entry and other logistical arrangements to ensure that the visit was conducted smoothly. The original request had specifically sought advance coordination of such arrangements for the visiting seers.
Naresh Kumar said the larger significance of the visit was in bringing together spiritual leaders representing different communities and regions of Karnataka on a common spiritual platform.
“These Gurupeethas are not limited to religious activities. Many of them are deeply involved in education, social upliftment and service to disadvantaged communities. Their coming together at Tirumala sends a strong message of spiritual unity, inclusion and social harmony,” he said.
