On 13 July 2019, the third instalment of the salsa programme will be held under the stars at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Up to 10 August, a host of DJs will be playing salsa, bachata and merengue-style music on the open-air stage on five consecutive Saturdays. Couples and singles alike are welcome. Prior registration is not necessary, and participation is free of charge.
Stuttgart. Caribbean flair in the Neckar Valley: From 13 July until 10 August 2019, enjoy Caribbean music every Saturday evening at the salsa dance party under the stars. A free sample dance lesson starts at 7 p.m., allowing you to learn basic salsa steps, moves and turns. Beginners can also experience salsa dancing for the very first time here.
8 p.m. to midnight is party time, when participants start dancing to hot salsa, bachata and merengue rhythms as alternating DJs play their preferred Latin dance mix, lending the party a Caribbean ambience late into the evening. Delicious Latin drinks and small snacks can be purchased at a cocktail bar.
In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the atrium of the museum.
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket desk always closes at 5 p.m.
