“There is no need to work for 70 hours, instead they can enjoy more family time” said Justice Santhosh Hegde in the event organized by The Trading Minds held in Bengaluru today.
He was responding to the question raised by the audience about the discussions being held on working hours of an employee. His response was towards the statement given by Infosys Founder NR Narayanamurthy recently to work hard for 70 hours a week.
He said, “More work is always misunderstood as more productivity. It is essential to use working hours with full productivity and spend quality time with the family”.
Justice Santosh Hegde and Justice Gopal Gowda were present in “The Taders Meetup and Education Heroes” as a part of anniversary of The Trading Minds.
He elaborated, “We have taught our children how make atom bombs, but not told them how to use them”.
Justice Gopala Gowda said, “We have to achieve all round development of the nation. Economic development is not only parameter of the development”.
